Glazing is an interesting way to create an art work, watching the various fruit taking form in the Wednesday evening class is very exciting.
The variety of colour and style whether in oils or acrylic is clearly seen in the photo.
Some are still at the black, grey and white stage while others are at the rich greens, yellows and reds stage.
The one thing that is constant is the glow that all of the works have and that is the quality of the glaze.
The hardest part is waiting each week for the coat that you completed last week to dry so the next coat can be applied.
Patience, patience this could take a year to get there but won’t it be worthwhile?
We enjoyed painting the fruit so much that we moved on to portraits. Works in progress.
