Whether you enjoy sketching or producing framed artworks, this mixed media class with Craig will help you develop your skills with a variety of techniques. Using pencils, pens, watercolour and sometimes acrylic, you will find new ways to describe the world and capture the essence of your chosen subject.
A Focus on Plein Air
This term the focus of this class will be Plein Air.
We will be working from moving images, such as the below link:
Initially the focus will be on drawing, then we will develop our skills of mark making, perspective tone and form.
We will also explore colour palettes from other references to create a dynamic original artwork.
Artworks can be interpreted in mixed media, acrylic and watercolour.
During term we will also go outside to experience Plein air at a location to be selected by the group at a time convenient for all and weather dependent.
The class is suitable for artists of all skill levels and we will use watercolour, acrylic and mixed media.
