Sunday Sketching
When: 28th April 2024 at 10:00am.
Where: Fitzroy Gardens. Meet near Captain Cook’s Cottage for a couple of hours of sketching and painting followed by lunch at the cafe.
Activity: We will meet up and sketch for around 2 hours and then re-convene to share our sketches. We will then have a picnic.
What do I bring: Bring along your own sketching materials, stool, coat, hat and picnic lunch (or purchase take away lunch).
What is there to sketch:
Cost: Gold coin donation payable on the day
Who’s coming: Everyone is welcome to attend including non-members. Bring your family and friends or come along on your own.

Sketching outdoors ( inside in the winter) in pleasant surroundings in good company is a great way to spend a Sunday morning, followed by lunch with like minded people. It’s good for the soul, good for the mind, good for the practice of art and extremely low cost. You will meet some interesting people and see some different ways of interpreting things which might lead you in a whole new direction.
Sketching Together plus lunch held monthly on a Sunday morning at 10:00am (usually the last Sunday of the month).
BYO art materials, stool, coat, hat, and picnic lunch or money to purchase lunch depending on where we go.
Non-members are welcome.
Cost is a gold coin donation.
