Let’s turn our artistic gaze to our domestic setting, like many artists before us, and draw inspiration from the interior landscapes of our homes. Whether it’s a study of a pile of dishes in the kitchen sink, a table set for high tea, the contrast of light streaming through a curtain onto a timber floor, a brightly coloured rug draped across a sofa, or simply the view from a kitchen table through to a room beyond – all of our domestic settings have rich artistic potential.
